Complicated but a decent concept

This looks like it would work better for older kids but not starting at age 3, as it says. The rewards and certificates are not perforated and need cut with scissors.

I'm in awe seeing how my kids respond to Roger. Their attitudes changed immediately. They're all about getting that super puppy! They LOVE that puppy, and now so do I. It's incredible what the right reinforcements and incentives can do for kids. When it comes to emotions, they have learned them all and they can't stop playing that domino, where they call every emotion by its name. It's truly impressive. We still haven't gone through all the tools, and that's okay, we're doing new tools on weekends and we cut them together and they get to pick what they want next. Thank you, Roger!

Awesome System

This system was recommended by a friend. We initially bought the behavioral clip chart, which changed our lives. No more tantrums, no arguments, both our kids loved Roger and wanted that super puppy. So we decided to get the book. Although the first part of the book was basically covered with the clip chart, we go some use of that part with the cards, which we use when we're out or when the kids go to grandma's house. Lots of other incentives and rewards, personalities, and lots of emotions tools which have improved communication and the way they deal with different situations, specially between the two of them. It's been well worth it.

Always a winner with my patients

As a family therapist, I've implemented this system myself with multiple families and great success. This book is the one I recommend for parents to implement on their own. There isn't much reading, which makes it less intimidating. The tools are fantastic, allowing parents to customize the system to their unique situations. The book contains everything you need to curb child behavior quickly and effectively. I have watched this system turn children's attitudes around in under a week, drastically improving family dynamics. All it takes is scissors, consistency, and the will to do it.

Success!

I ordered this book for my sister. It was on a whim, so she wasn't expecting it. Seems like I'm now the favorite sister! lol Her kids are lovely, but a handfull. She started a month ago and they are truly unrecognizable. Their behavior changed, they're much more polite and aware of themselves. It is a pleasure to visit them now. I may be willing to babysit after this drastic change. :)
